For the past 20 years, Brian has been at the forefront of custom home building in the Denver region. Brian's journey took a significant turn as he recognized the dire need for homes that actively contribute to the well-being of their occupants.

His concern for the quality of health in new and existing homes, particularly for those dealing with allergies and autoimmune illnesses, has ignited a new purpose in his work. Through his vast experience in new home construction and renovation, he has acquired an innate understanding of how to transform spaces, whether mitigating biotoxins, addressing indoor air quality concerns, or preventing allergen accumulation.

What started as a supportive husband looking to help his wife live in a safe, mold-free living environment turned into a passion and drive to help others achieve the same. When Brian and his wife discovered they were dealing with a biotoxin illness, CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome), they spent time, energy, and money trying to eradicate the mold in their home. In navigating their situation, they came across a community of people also suffering from the biotoxin illness. From recent water damage to years of mold exposure, people’s immune systems were under attack, causing a variety of health issues and severely decreasing their quality of life. While people struggling with these issues should focus on addressing their health issues with a CIRS doctor, diet, and other avenues, the problem remains the same. It’s extremely difficult to get better when you live in a home that’s making you sick.

The solution seems simple right? Fix the home, fix the problem. But Brian quickly realized there were few resources for people in a mold situation. His wife, among others, was stuck living in an unhealthy environment, not knowing where to turn or what to do. While it was a major decision, the answer became clear for Brian and his family. He was going to use his expertise as a contractor and build a home using clean practices and materials to create a mold resistant home. It took some time, like all construction projects, but Brian successfully built a mold-resistant home he designed with an architect to achieve the results they desired. Throughout his building career, Brian has been building with what he thought were the best building materials and building science, but he discovered that there are building codes, practices, and materials that actually contribute to mold growth. His passion to change these practices, materials, and hopefully building code, have led him to look at all new home construction and renovations differently. Brian’s new experience has provided him with the wisdom and inspiration to help others do the same.

What remains true is that people should feel healthy and comfortable where they live. With his 20 years of building expertise and personal experience, Brian offers the tools, information, and support you need to take control of your health and home.
